David Fernandez is a Cuban-American Singer and Violinist. His deep, rich vocals swell with emotion, paired with heartfelt string playing on the Violin. As a recording artist and concert musician, David brings a diverse repertoire, from soul-stirring melodies to timeless classics, adding an air of elegance and warmth to every event.

David Fernández was born in Santiago de Cuba and began playing violin at the age of eight. Just a year later, he made his debut with the Santiago Symphony Orchestra. At eleven, he won his first international competition in Havana, competing against artists from around the world.

At thirteen, David immigrated to Miami, attending South Miami Middle School for a year before auditioning for—and being accepted into—the New World School of the Arts on a full scholarship.

​

By sixteen, he had joined the Miami Symphony Orchestra, where he performed regularly as a soloist for several years. In 2020, he earned his bachelor’s degree and soon after began training in voice and opera as a bass-baritone. Since then, he has performed throughout South Florida—from private events, recording studios, and concert halls to sharing the stage with stars such as Emeli Sandé.

Beyond the stage, David shares his music in meaningful ways—performing for patients and visitors at the Miami Cancer Institute.
